Please be advised that the self-cleaning restroom located at the corner of First Street and Chipman Street is temporarily closed for necessary repairs due to vandalism. The City has ordered replacement parts and is committed to completing the repairs as quickly as possible.

Snow Removal Birchwood Crescent, Fourteenth Avenue North, Ninth Street North

Please be advised that snow removal operations will take place on Birchwood Crescent, Fourteenth Avenue North, and Ninth Street North on Tuesday, January 7, and Wednesday, January 8, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. 

The work plan may be adjusted if there are weather changes or if emergencies and other snow event priorities develop. 

Signs will be posted in the snow removal area to indicate ‘No Parking’ zones.  Vehicles parked in a signed snow removal zone may be ticketed and towed at the owner’s expense.

Please be advised a Precautionary Boil Water Advisory has been issued to all persons consuming water from the City of Kenora water distribution system from the following locations:

• Minnesota Street, address numbers 40, 30, 26, 22, 21, 19, 17, 15, 14, 13, 9, 8, 5, 2, 1;

• Pearson Street, address numbers 8, 16, 20, 28, 34, 42; and
