Portage Bay Bridge Closure Continues for Assessment and Repair Works

Please be advised that Portage Bay Bridge will remain closed to all vehicles and pedestrians while the bridge assessment work continues. An update on the closure status will be provided next week.
Motorists are advised to continue following the detour routes.
The streetlights remain turned off along the bridge and the south shoreline.
Thank you for your patience during this infrastructure work and attention to those working on the bridge.

River Drive Lane Closure for Ditching Work

Please be advised that traffic will be reduced to one lane from 871 River Drive to 1215 River Drive on Friday, October 25, Monday, October 28, and Tuesday, October 29 for ditching work. The eastbound lane will be closed from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., while the westbound lane will remain open.
Traffic will be controlled by flagging. Motorists are advised to obey traffic control and use caution through the work area.

Railway Street Closure October 24 to November 8, 2024

Please be advised that Railway Street from 1405 Railway Street (Derouard Motors) to 1518 Railway Street (Pro-Auto Glass and Windows) will be closed to all-through traffic from Thursday, October 24, to Friday, November 8, for road improvements.
There will be no access to Gould Road at Railway Street during this closure; however, access to Sedesky Road, businesses, and homes will be maintained throughout the construction work.
